I am trying to decide whether to get a card reader. It seems a bit of a
clunk connecting the camera to the Mac each time I want to upload
pictures.

I don't use a card reader, because I figure if I'm going to break
something from frequent plugging and unplugging I'd rather begin with
the camera's USB socket than the card socket.

[2] quick upload @ my jonbradbury domain if fancy a peek as I'd promised
one or two peeps the rally car pics would be up this morning, so need to
do a tidy up later, fix the rotates etc.

Hey, some lovely ones in the park there. Reminds me, I haven't done the
local park with the Tamron yet. And then there's Roger's fisheye...

Thanks, it was good to finally get out in some proper daylight and use
the camera (having blagged the day off). Had to do a lot of bracketing
to get some of the shots [1], and the first swan picture was a lucky one
as that was first 'rolls' worth and I'd not realised I'd left it at a
stop n half over exposure.

Got some others from the weekend to sort and put up too, managed to
catch a Little Owl in flight [3] but it isn't publishable worthy.

[1] The close ups of the bridge are about 2stops under iirc [2]
[2] I had to do a lot of playing as the harsh sun meant you couldn't see
the screen right so did a lot of compensation that was wrong
[3] If I'd just got focused half a second earlier it would have been sat
on a beam which would have been nice.
