And, by doing that, you allow people to become cosy with the idea that
it is trivial.

Why? No-one thinks that rape is an insignificant crime, simply because
the word "theft" is not attached to it. Lots of non-theft crimes are
considered very serious. I'd like to get away from the idea that crime
should be centered around property.
