Yes?? I hadn't heard that.
I can't remember where I read it, but it was in the context of the
Apple-Intel relationship.
OTOH the DTK machines had integrated graphics and they apparently ran pretty
nicely...
I didn't see how they performed compared to a stand alone card.
I think people were comparing them favourably to a G5 PM, but since all of
those comparisons were sort of unofficial...
I think on balance I'd prefer a machine with a "real" graphics card + GPU,
but it would be interesting to know how bad the integrated graphics really
were under OS X.
