Is that recent trojan, or whatever it was, still downloadable?
Having installed ClamXav, I'd like to see if it works.
I have no idea, I'm not in the habit of downloading viruses on purpose
myself.
Is this what you've been looking for?
http://secunia.com/mac_os_x_command_execution_vulnerability_test/
It was blocked by Saft before it could run.
fails here as nothing is in a default postion. ie all in folders etc. i
don't know if it fails due to inacties of the script or that finding
getting termial access when terminal.app its not where you expect it is
quite a stopper. certianly apple can never ipdate smoothly here.
Hmm, moving the original apps can cause problems, especially with
updates.
well only so much in that the updated applications get put in
/applications not within the folders ie /applications/music players say
for itunes. so you drop the new verion on. the reltive folder.
other update can manage it with no further imput, such as ms office etc.
