Cheers Daniele - I realised after I wrote it that .cam would almost
definitely be a valid addr' so might cause someone somewhere a problem. And
your post prompted me to check what I had done (change to @mac.com to
@macHIAVELLI.com) which it seems is a cheesy limousine company somewhere. So
much for trying to be inventive :-) SO I have taken your advice...thanks a
lot ( & thanks for the offer of contacting me with assistance - greatly
appreciated - I'm a fairly new mac user & can't believe I delayed switching
- what a difference).
I wouldn't use mac.com.invalid either - I think mac.invalid would be
better. mac.com.invalid contains the real domain, whereas mac.invalid
leaves that open.
I don't know how sophisticated address-harvesting software is, but it's
even possible that some of it is smart enough to know that mac.invalid
is probably really mac.com.
