Hmm. Line spacing everywhere, graphic objects everywhere and just to finish things off a nice crash from Word the first time it opened the document.

I really don't need Word for my day-to-day computing existence, but with CVs there's pretty much a blanket requirement that your doc shall look good in Word. And for that, you need Word. No export will do, you have to check things yourself. And no, I've already tried sending a PDF and they asked for it in Word format instead. I didn't even attempt to offer them it in Pages format....


Pages export is pants. Even, somehow, its PDF export. Export as RTF, then load into TextEdit and save as Word (this works quite well in Tiger).
