Yes - I thnik you can put theme wherever you want.

I don't think so - IME when you accidentally press anoter button the
GPS stuff stops dead and needs to be restarted.

I don't have a phone-Palm, and never tried teh MP3 thang.

The UK map takes (at a guess) about 200K

For my cradle, it's very fiddly. Yes - it just hold the unit in place,
and there's a line in for power from the cig lighter, and a line out to
power the GPS unit itself.

Yes - they're plenty loud. It's OK navigating without the voice if you
have plenty of time!

You run the installer from the CD on a PC and it creates a map file on
your PC hard drive which you then copy to your SD however you like (eg
SD card reader on the PC).

Less fiddly, easier to use, mine used to have some "connecting to the
GPS using Bluetooth" issues.
