Everything is quoted exclusive of local tax. It's fucking maddening-
even magazines have random feeling cents added to the price at the
newsstands, so when you sort out your change before you buy, you're
always caught for extra. The only simple places are the ones that are
wealthy enough not to have local sales tax, like Florida.
