Same here.

Nothing that demanding. Email, web, news mainly (though web is using
Omniweb, which can use a lot of CPU). iTunes. HTML editing, image
manipulation (small files). iPhoto (which does stress the CPU a bit but
I don't use it much).

It either stays on a desk (all feet intact) or sits on my lap on the
sofa; but, odd person that I am, I sit cross-legged so it has a lot of
airspace underneath it (pretty much it's only the edges of the base in
contact with anything).

The power connector is loose-ish, but I doubt that's relevent.

Yeah. I used to treat it roughly. Now I treat it like delicate china,
because I'm afraid it might break again.

Doubt it, but I will try.

Mmmm. I'm just thinking if I kick up a public stink they might just
give in on the G4 front. Also, I can go in on the way home from work so
it might be quicker than the whole courier-getting-repeatedly-lost
debacle that I'm expecting.

But they probably don't have much clout, really.
