What do you mean by router? If you just want a wireless base station
for Macintosh and Windows machines to use for internet access then an
Airport base station will do. I use one with NTL. Cable modem, not set
top box.
Plus the Airport looks okay which might be a factor depending on where
the NTL termination point is. Mine is in my living room.
