Now hang on. Clive wrote the HTML so that it degrades to displaying an image
if the browser can't display the Flash object. He did the right thing here.
Now it just so happens that your browser thinks it can handle the Flash
object but can't, so doesn't display either. That's a bug in your browser.

He did.

There's a difference between a browser that doesn't have particular
features, and a browser that implements them badly. Lynx would appear to be
in the former class, and iCab the latter.
