My G4 is positioned such that to get it from under the desk you've got
to move the desk, to move the desk you've got to move the rather heavy
19" crt monitor on top of it, then the keyboard equipment etc next to
the desk to give you room to move the desk into. OK if they've got time
they may succeed but they are going to have a struggle on their hands
and by now they've already walked past two much easier to steal PCs.

Our old office in Leeds though got broken into, as did the other 100 or
so companies sharing the same block. The thieves had enough time to
pinch every single computer, monitor, laptop, petty cash tin, printer,
backup drives the lot. They even broke into every locked cupboard and
filing cabinet to find any of the petty cash and hidden laptops.
Fortunately we only had an iMac, iBook and printer on site (with remote
backup to HQ). Many came off much much worse
