Hex and ASCII, yes; hex or text, no. And the (unwanted) image still

But you forget that I'm very new to the Mac way of doing things.
It's really pretty bad that it won't open more than one window. Makes
it a tad difficult to compare parts of files.
And I still can't understand why it should take 5 seconds of
beachballing just to resize the hex dump window. It should be
instantaneous.
