i find that i can get though one wall just about, the walls are thick
stone walls but luckly the base station in in a large room so i am able
to postion the express above and to the side and the express has enought
power to just about get though the wall, but yes plaster walls and
floors don't seem to make much differnce to wifi, even breeze block
walls don't seem to imped it much

yes thats why i got it, some thing with a plug cable etc would end get
knocked off, etc and i can move the express so instead of covering the
upper east side of the house it covers the kitchen and a part of the
garden.

heh um i'm not sure i understand, you seem to be saying you have wires
where you have wireless, and no wires where there is no wireless?
i guess you mean you have ethernet running about the house in the prarts
that wireless can't reach?
