Don't think that is important, there is a lot less of it in the new G4s,
in fact to take off the top shielding there is no yellow, or that
horendous silver stuff to remove.
The modem however is wrapped in the (silver) stuff and you have to
carefully unpick it all to salvage the adapter and plate to fit to the
new one.
