They certainly seem to have broken Mail for now for sure. I also noted
the extra lines appearing too - even worse when you do a Mail to Mail
conversation.

I have also found that the quoting colour gets attributed to the reply
text too.

I would use Eudora myself, except for the appalling HTML handling, which
I do use, although only for mailing I choose to receive, I never send a
HTML message myself.

Thunderbird is good, although I have experienced a bug where sent
messages are not saved. I also have a need to change signatures
depending on who I send mail too, that's not easy in Thunderbird.

So for now, Mail is the only app that actually meets my own
requirements.
