need help with AOL broadband for Mac

hi,
recently bought a mac mini. i want to be able to access my AOL
broadband Gold via my mac. but the ADSL USB modem that came with AOL
doesn't get recognised by my mac and so i can't connect to broadband.
unfortunately AOL dont support macs and APPLE dont support USB modems!!
any suggestions to solve the problem.

or alternatively do you know of an internet provider that supports Mac
or atleast comes with ethernet type modems instead of USB ADSL modems
that will work with my mac mini? (my current broadband is 1mbps with no
download limits). thanks if u can help.
