Won't worry me as long as the licenses I've paid for can be moved to
another machine if I upgrade and can be used on a desktop when at home
or a PB when mobile.

Anything that is free will still work. If you have to pay the license
fee to use software then nothing will have changed, except the
freeloaders will have to pay. Good thing too.
