Hi
I have a Fuji A1630 Amilo AMD 64 Laptop.
I have used the supplied restore disks to restore from new, however
the laptop 'Blue Screens' when I restart AFTER installing the supplied
ATI Video drivers.
I have tried downloading the latest version from the Fuji site (as ATI
dont support it anymore apparently) - but the same thing happens.
When I restart windows using 'last known good config' it works OK but
removed the ATI vga drivers and reverts back to the standard 'unknown'
driver...
What happens prior to the blue screen is the laptop starts up, then
the screen goes totally black (but the HD light is still active) -
then after about 15 seconds, it just blue screens..
Once you restart after this (and select last known good config) -
Windows reports it cant start the ATI control pane as the drivers dont
exist/are corruopt
Ive tried also turning off acceleration and also JUST installing the
drivers and not the control panel, but the same happens.
Yesterday I also started from scratch (ie a reformat and restore
again) but all still to the same end result.
Tried E-maling Fuji...no reply after 3 x attempts - wont be buying
Fuji again..
If anyone can help, it would be appreciated

Have you tried the Omega ATi drivers www.omegadrivers.net
or try here www.fujitsu-siemens.co.uk/support/index.html , put in your
serial number into the relevant box and that should come up with some help.
I have an Amilo a2000 and the site came up trumps eventually after a lot of
searching.
Good luck.
Tim.
