Ah, interesting - but why do you ask in a laptop group?
I have Cucusoft Pro and last edition of Nero. The files go through the
process of converting, AVIto DVD without any problems, but when it comes to
burning , something always happens and I end up with errors messages and one
dvd disk less on my shelf.
I am not experienced on this field, could anyone give me some advise
possibly using simple terms, I would be very grateful, these files are very
precious to me.
You might want to consult this website containing numerous step-by-step
instructions:

Other options ...
Convert to dvd structure on hard drive ... Is that playable on your
computer. If so, then try burning dvd.
Also - use rewritable media
or, acquire an Divx/Xvid capable dvd player.
Good luck
.
