I have been contacted by a friend who has just bought a brand new Dell
9400
laptop, but it came with Vista. He doesn't want vista and would like
to
remove it and install Windows XP Pro. Can this be done?
I am a bit worried about tackling this as I know Dell laptops commonly
have
hidden partitions etc.
Can someone in the know advise me please?
Thanks
fit a new hard drive and install XP on it....
Bit drastic that! Why a new drive? Also updated drivers would be needed
to be got of Dells website.
