This is a really simple question, but think the answer is impossible.
My girlfriend wants a laptop, mostly for web browsing, emails etc, no
problem there, but one of the thing she wants also is to play World of
Warcraft. Now looking at the general PCs out there getting a fast one
with a gig memory and a big hard disk is no real problem. Its the the
video.... All the built in graphics cars that use on board memory,
dont seem to be up to scratch to run her game. I have argued the
paint about a desktop being better for games etc, but she has decided
she wants a laptop.
Basically all I want to know is this. Is there anywhere you get can a
sub 500 laptop (new) to run Wow with a dedicated graphics card which
will run this game.
Any help appreciated
Daniel
With that budget I think you'll struggle but have a look here...
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Dell-Inspiron-9400-1GIG-DDR-80HD-LAPTOP-17-VISTA_W0QQitemZ110114602394QQihZ001QQcategoryZ177QQcmdZViewItem
for a brand new 17" lappy with dedicated graphics for £520 plus delivery. I've bought from this guy and couldn't be happier with service and price, saving about £400 on Dell's own price for an XPS M1710. If you fancy an auction rather than a BIN he does have lots of other stock.
