I can't think of any major laptop manufacturer that doesn't offer 7200RPM
HDs in their laptops, at least as an upgrade.
In Thinkpads they're often standard depending on the model chosen. My
recently purchased T60P came from the factory with a 100GB 7200RPM SATA HD.
