I totally agree with you Simon. Even my AMD 1.2GHZ with 386 MB of RAM
has trouble with some bitrates. Although this Celeron M 1.7GHZ with
512MB of RAM is flawless so far.

Hey I just thought of something. WMP has a buffer under Tools ->
Options. I thought this helps streams only. But maybe it helps all
around. It might be worth a shot. Try increasing the buffer and see if
that helps.
