Further to My Bluetooth

On my desktop My Bluetooth Places appears as a System Folder under Desktop
in the Folders pane. From here it can be used in an Explorer type mode ie
drag and drop objects from phone to phone or anywhere.
On my notebook MBP does not appear as per the desktop.............how do I
get it to appear as my Desktop.
