cant' vouch for any particular service as I haven't used any
we recently broke our laptop exactly the same way .. unfortunately it was
essential for us to buy another system straight away .. so we still have the
broken laptop ... I intend to have a go myself at soldering and gluing the
power socket to the mother board .. when I have some time
to access your data while it is being fixed you can take out the hard drive
and use a hard drive enclosure to connect it to another system .. you save
your files to another system then reinsert the hard drive ... this is not a
difficult procedure .. couple of screws to take off the hard drive cover on
the back of the laptop .. to get access to the harddrive ..Then another
couple of screws to undo the harddrive from the chassis ... then slide it
off its connector ...
