In my Vaio days, I always used to wipe the Hard drive after using "Backup My
Drivers" or some such app (not needed now I'm into IBM). Alternatively, you
should be able to enter your model number and serial at Sony's website to
get all the drivers you need.
There was a specific order in which they had to be applied in order to work
properly and you often had to ignore MS warnings about non signed drivers
etc.
Never had a real prob with uninstalling Bloaty stuff through Control Panel
and / or Registry.
