Anyone ever succeeded in bypassing password of Toshiba Tecra 8100 with parallel device?

Hello there,

I've tried bypassing the password of my old Toshiba Tecra 8100 with this
parallel loopback device but without any succes.

Actually I couldn't believe it from the beginning.

It would be to simple, don't you think?

But on the other hand I could have made a little mistake constructing the
device.

With all these wires and so on!!

Please tell me, if anyone ever succeeded in this, and I will try it all over
again.

I think it such a waste having this laptop just standing here.

Any help is appreciated
