After reading all that I was getting worried - some while ago I bought a
samsung 16Gb class 10 micro card with usb adapters against the Great Day
arriving. But it works perfectly well.
Main hassle was getting the video set up (and that pretty well down to
my ignorance).
But, er, anything like youtube, google maps, etc isn't going to work. No
flash - the other sort :-(
Er, google maps is most definitely not flash, it's AJAX. Youtube is also
not all flash otherwise it wouldn't work on iOS (which it does).
Hmmm. A wrong assumption on my part. It's odd though that none of google
maps, youtube nor streetmap seem to show a working display.
THat's probably due to the high cpu load that those sites will put on
your poor little Pi. Did you check the green cpu monitor in the bottom
RH corner of the desktop? If it's a bright green square, it means that
the cpu is at 100% (and has been for a while).
If those sites work at all, you're going to have to wait a while...
Hmmm. Can you say "style over function"?
