Tried that but it doesn't (at least as it booted after the install)
recognise the inbuilt wifi.

The in built wifi requires the Ath5K driver.

Again, I can only go off my experience with Ubuntu, but this is
included on the CD.

Also, ath5k is apparently completely incompatible with "mad-wifi" so
assuming you can get the driver loaded in Fedora, you'll fist need to
remove any instances of "mad-wifi" thay may be hanging arounf.

Hmm, that's interesting, I'll try it. If I plug the camera in via USB it
comes up fine, as do normal USB sticks and external hard drives, DVD
drives etc. But not the camera card slot.

Weird

Take a look at Gordon's post. It looks promising and I will be
following the steps after my next AA1 boot up.
