Just realised I could have written that better, as what you've said is closer to what I meant. I didn't intend to imply that FF3 inclusion was the sole reason, but re-reading it it looks like that's what I did.
It's impossible to satisfy everyone, and we can only put out so many
different combinations. Realistically LTS releases are not intended for
home desktop users who want the newest of everything, although they
should work pretty well for corporate desktops on long upgrade cycles.
Which is fine by me with my home user hat on. I have a slightly corporate mindset when it comes to the home network, and a sandbox to play in for the bleeding edge stuff. Play with it 'till its ready could be my motto. Note that ready should not be confused with finished.
