Trying to open a file ( /sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:0f.0/ssb_sprom )No. You can only run commands that are permitted by the contents of
with gksudo gedit using a new install of the latest Ubuntu 8.04 but get
"could not open the file".
I thought that if I do sudo (correct password of course) I could get
into anything.
Is this correct?
/etc/sudoers
sudo -l
will list what you're allowed to do. See "man sudoers" for more details
and how to change the list of permitted commands.
