google tweakui xmouse or powertoy xmouse for windows for a hingmy that transfers focus on mouseover not mouseclick
What I was complaining about the the tendency of the XP GUI to do something annoying if you're in a bit too much of a hurry with the mouse. I don't notice anything like that with a Gnome desktop, though admittedly the early FC1's Gnome does get on my tits with the way you can sometimes switch virtual desktops to find that the only open window doesn't have focus - but thats just one annoyance compared with XP's swarm of 'em.
