SWMBO has been having problems with XP and has become so exasperated she

I put SuSE 10.3 on her system and everything appears to be tickety-boo.
Apart from networking that is. She connects to the router using a Netgear
WG311v3 wireless card that needs to use ndiswrapper to drive it.
I can get this to load and get an initial configuration working. However
it isn't stable and I can't get it to reconnect automatically after a
reboot.
Any help available with the configuration I currently have? Alternately, I
am prepared to swap out the wireless card for one that has a real driver
or change the distro.
I had a similar problem with my pc and had to add
rt61
to modprobe.preload and it works every time now. Also I enabled the ethernet
card so it attempted to connect via that then via the wifi, this was done
to give time for the wifi card to be seen as it is on an internal usb port
in the laptop. If it was as the other laptop is on pci then there was no
problems with it.
Hope this helps
