Fax machines are still useful IMO, with real fax machine (not modems) at
either end you know that the message is actually coming out of a machine
at the other end where hopefully someone will read it. Whereas with an
email no-one knows where it's gone or when it will arrive, especially
nowadays when there's so much spam about and so much of it is
automatically deleted.

You've never been in the offices of a large organisation, have you?
