Fax machines are still useful IMO, with real fax machine (not modems) at
either end you know that the message is actually coming out of a machine at
the other end where hopefully someone will read it. Whereas with an email
no-one knows where it's gone or when it will arrive, especially nowadays
when there's so much spam about and so much of it is automatically deleted.
