It's already on the end of a lead and located within line-of-sight for
the keyboard, it seems my legs are efficient RF sinks ;-)
Distance from the machine doesn't seem to really make any difference.
I've also found that sometimes a cable lying across a table greatly
boosts my wireless network strength on my laptop so a long cable isn't
necessarily going to help.
I've just been trying a new bluetooth GPS receiver, could pick it up
from about 15 feet away, I would have tried further but the GPS has
now died, it lasted a whole 15 minutes before breaking, not bad for
£25...
Battery flat?
No, for a start it won't turn off, and secondly plugging it into the
charger makes no difference. I'll leave it charging then call tech
support on Monday for an RMA.
