Optiarc seems to be a collaboration between Sony and NEC. Scan have one
for £17.32 inc VAT.
I've not had a good experience with Sony drives in general (including a
DVD writer which I had to return because most of the discs I burnt with
it wouldn't read back), so I hope it's more NEC than Sony.
