I can do that once I know what to put in it. There is both a grub.conf and a
Menu.lst that appear to have the same contents, mostly referring to the Linux
build as you say.
What kind of entry am I aiming to add ?
Try video=i810fb:1024x768M@60m and see if that does anything. From
<http://www.mjmwired.net/kernel/Documentation/fb/modedb.txt>. Or
1280x1024M@60m.
If that doesn't work, you could try vesadb instead of i810fb. That
ought to work on most modern PCs, I think.
(I confess I haven't tried any of this. I use vesafb, and "ga=794.
That used to be the sort of thing you needed to say but it's a bit
opaque.)
