I vaguely heard something this morning on the radio (today program
before 7am but I can't give a better time than that) about Barclays
sending "card readers to scramble your pin" to make online banking
more secure.

Presumably, whatever they're doing will require a driver that will
only be provided for vista and OSX. :-(

But why would you ever need your PIN online? It's the one bit of
bank/card security information that you never need on your computer
isn't it?
