Finding a decent router

I'm looking for a new router. This'll be my fourth since
ADSL arrived here, which is a ridiculously high rate.
They've all had some pretty serious bugs making them at
best painful to use.
So it occurs to me I should look for recommendations.
But more than that: why not try and get a little more?
The router[1] is the best place to run a DNS cache,
so let's look for one I can configure, to block all
those adserver/webbug sites in a single place.
And if it supports RBL lookup too, all the better:-)
Any recommendations?
ADSL+wireless also required (and please no big lights!)
but speed is a complete non-issue.
[1] Except the 3Com one, whose DNS (as well as its DHCP)
is just too broken.
