Did you have a look at www.ipcop.org?
IPCop is a linux router/firewall distribution. It runs on old hardware
very nicely. I use it here on a P200 with 64 MB RAM, very good.
IPCop can handle a lot of interface devices, you will find a list on
the site.
Yes, I know, another pc and a switch has to be achieved for that
purpose. But it should be possible to find a suitable machine for very
little money. Over here in Germany you can get such machines for less
than 20 EUR.
