hi again
spotted a little weird behaviour finally :-( when listening to anything
from the bbc with real player, i tend to get system freezes, where i can't
open or close any apps or log off without using the power button on my
laptop. without real player the system seems rock solid. i've tried using
the rpm from www.real.com/linux and the manual install from
http://www.stanton-finley.net/fedora_core_5_installation_notes.html but
with that one, the app isn't registered as a plugin for firefox and i have
to run the app separately to get it to work. anyone else had this kind of
bother?
cheers

ps just tried the manual install again and this time it did register as a
plugin but i'm still getting crashes. i did remove helix player too as
instructed :-(
