I am trying to activate rexec command. it is giving message "connection
refused"
when i am trying to se the service status of rexec command. It is
giving message Unrecognized command.
I my system there is Xinetd.d directory instead of inetd.d.
There is no file called rexec or rsh to activate rexec.
I was also trying to see files named /etc/xinetd.d/rexec,
/etc/pam.d/rexec and /etc/pam.d/resex but there is no such file in my
system.
I was also trying to install rexecd file in my system but i was unable
to do that since initilaly it was asking for rc-inetd file. when i was
trying to instal rc-inetd, then it was asking for inetdemon. then i was
trying to install inetdaemon then it was again asking for rc-inetd.
i,e a cycle was created among inetdaemon and rc-inetd.
What should i do to activate rexec.
