I saw Chris's original post at work, but now at home my ISP's news server
has lost it. However, replying from memory:
I had hoped that the removal of Browserhawk was the start of enlightenment.
I would welcome a text only website. I don't want to download heaps of
images just so I can enter a couple of meter readings.
Of all the sites I use for banking and purchasing etc the Scottish Power
site it is by far the worst. I doubt if all the others make an excessive
effort to work on other OS/browser combinations, but they generally do,
even if they have minor quirks. Seems almost as if SP make an excessive
effort to be highly IE useable only. And to snub Firefox nowadays seems
just stupid.
