Yes. It means that you need to press something before it automatically logs a user in - a single step which they oddly think will prevent problems.
AIUI the key combo is unique in that Ctrl+Alt+Del is not interceptible by applications and is guaranteed to be processed by the O/S. Therefore it should be impossible for a trojan or virus to intercept CAD and capture your logon credentials for nefarious purposes. At least that's what MS would have us believe.
Besides, it does mean that productivity will be increase - at least you're using the keyboard instead of bashing the fscking machine when the damned thing fails to work/lose a years worth of email/gets infected with the current hours flavour of nasty/goes off in a sulk!
