My daughter has been trying to access the US site of Abercrombie & Fitch (www.abercrombie.com) as a friend as offered to go shopping there on her behalf during a forthcoming trip to the US - however, as she's based in the UK, the .com site just redirects her to www.abercrombie.co.uk.
I've tried accessing it for her using various free IP address-anonymizer sites, but none seem to do anything - could it be the site rejects access from anonymous servers?
Is there a way she can do this?
Have you tried using the Contact option on the www.abercrombie.co.uk screen
and asking them, they are certainly more likely to know than anyone here.
Spose it's worth a try, but I can't really see them telling me, can you?... after all the whole point of the redirect is to prevent UK customers from accessing the cheaper prices on the US site!
Hence I was hoping for a generic solution along the lines of an anonymous proxy server...
