Many thanks, that's a useful link.
Luckily, the friend used to work for a large multi-national, and an IT
support guy there has "lent" her a copy of Vista. I'm installing ATM; it
seems much quicker to install than XP. That certainly wasn't the case with
the various Vista RC's.
