There are a number of wireless keyboard/mouse products available which use
a
USB dongle. If you look at the product info they all claim Windows
compatibility, nothing more. Yet, if the dongle presents the computer
with
the normal USB keyboard/mouse protocol, surely all these products should
work with any OS that supports USB keyboards and mice.
Can anybody confirm this?
Supporting a USB mouse and or keyboard yes but the extra features will be
dependent on that keyboards or mouse drivers. My latest USB keyboard is not
effective until windows is loaded so should I need to get in bios or save
mode I will have to change keyboards where as my last one worked on
switching on. So at what point does it become compatible
Also, can anybody recommend a wireless keyboard/mouse product that has a
range of up to 30 feet rather than the five or ten that is usually
guarenteed.
No doubt there are some but would they not cause some confusion with
neighbours. may be not your but the average user will be less the 15 feet
from their's
.
