The ironic thing is that the customer's original PC, an ancient W98 (not SE)
PC, had started failing in very much the same way so I replaced it with the
Win Me one that's causing all the problem - and that only started playing up
when I'd copied on the My Docs and OE email, and installed the printer
driver. I'm beginning to suspect that printer driver... Could the fact that
it's installed cause the PC to blue-screen sometimes when web pages are
displayed, even though I'm not using the printer at the time?
I would think it far more likely that a hardware driver would blue-screen a PC
than OE or IE. Many apps will query a printer driver when they're running,
even if you're not printing, so maybe it's that?
